✨ 1. Producer Madlib created the entire beat tape for the album on a Boss SP-303 sampler and a portable turntable while living in a modest bomb shelter in Los Angeles.
✨ 2. The iconic black-and-white album cover was shot by photographer Eric Coleman and is a direct homage to the cover of King Curtis's 1962 live album *King Curtis At The Village Gate*.
✨ 3. The album leaked in its entirety nearly four months before its official release, prompting Stones Throw Records to rush-release the finished project.
