✨ 1. Producer and MC Havoc created most of the album's dark, haunting beats using a budget E-mu SP-1200 sampler and a Korg Trinity keyboard in his Queensbridge housing project apartment.
✨ 2. The classic track "Shook Ones, Pt. II" features a heavily pitched-down sample of a jazz horn from Herbie Hancock's 1976 song "Jessica."
✨ 3. Despite being widely considered a masterpiece of 1990s East Coast hardcore hip-hop, the album's gritty title track, "The Infamous," was actually left off the final tracklist and only appeared later on special editions.
